Our Mission
Southwest Christian Academy exists to prepare life-long learners in a Christ-centered environment with an emphasis on servant leadership through a Biblical WorldView and to give students the tools to live in and challenge their culture as Godly men and women.
Our Approach – Learning is not a team sport
The single most important aspect of early education is the acquiring of good study habits. These can be learned through the regular mastering of challenging academic material in an excellent study environment, on a regular schedule, and by means that will be available throughout life.
Attending Southwest Christian Academy
We meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am–3:00pm.Regular, consistent attendance at school is required by the State of Missouri and is conducive to high academic achievement.
Respect guides all interactions at SWCA. Respect for authority is expected and nurtured, and those in authority treat students with respect. Students’ interactions are to be guided by respect for their teachers and one another.

We pride ourselves on putting your child’s education and well being first helping you to raise and inspire well educated and morally sound young adults.
GENERAL ADMISSION
Admission is based on test scores, academic and personal recommendations, school records, and an in-person interview. To be eligible for PK Explorer applicants must be 4 by August 1, to be eligible for Kindergarten Explorer applicants must be 5 by August 1. Our Explorer programs are half day programs but child(ren) can be enrolled in both programs for all day learning.

Our school community is built on biblical values that reveal God’s love for us and our need to love and care for our neighbor as ourselves. Emphasis is placed on essential beliefs of the christian faith, not on those differences regarding secondary doctrine that separate believers.
SWCA upholds superior standards of academic excellence. Our goal is to enable our students to become well-grounded in academic content, to grow to intellectual maturity and to acquire skills of critical thinking. Students are encouraged to understand that intellectual honesty is found in the central truths of Christianity.

I just attended your Great Christmas Program! I want to thank you for your dedication to giving our young children the best schooling any person can have! I believe I received a better education then the children of today do in their first 8 grades.
Why do you ask? I did not know English When I started with a class of 4 students, in a school of 35 students with one teacher Mrs. Bryner. I learned the English Language by using the McGuffey reading books and listening to the other 7 grades being taught during the day! If I missed something in the First Grade, I would catch up while in the Second Grade, and also learn from the grades ahead of me, I think what you have endeavored to start a year ago, is the one thing that could get America back to where it was 100 years ago with a Quality Society!
God Bless the Teachers of our Future Citizens of America while they, Make America Great Again!
